Ely Gotiangco

Ely G. Gotiangco has been living in Geneva, Switzerland for more than 20 years. She shuffles back and forth to her resident home and the Philippines for her ministries. She studied Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the University of the Philippines. She took her Graduate Studies in Christian Education at the Asian Theological Seminary (ATS).

After graduation from the University of the Philippines, she worked at the Accounting and Human Resources of the Air Materiel Wings Savings and Loan Association. In 1981, she moved to Geneva, Switzerland. She was employed at the Budget and Finance Department of the International Trade Center. She continued her career  at the International Labor Organization (ILO) until retirement in the Budget and Finance and Treasury Department.

Ely is an ordained Pastor of the Christian Church Fellowship International Philippines. She is at present an  Associate Pastor of the Christian Church International Geneva. She co-pioneered local churches like the 1st Filipino Church, Come to Jesus Fellowship and the American-Filipino Christian International Fellowship, now the Vineyard International Christian Fellowship in Geneva.

In the Caring Ministry, Ely began as a Stephen Lay Minister at the Crossroads Church in Ferney Voltaire, France. She extended her work in the pastoral care with Reaching Beyond Ministries in the Philippines. In the Elderly Care and service to the community she served for some years as 2nd Vice-President of Damayan at Tiyaga Foundation Philippines.
