January has been designated National Bible Month in the Philippines by Presidential Proclamation No. 124. In addition, Republic Act 11163 declares the last Monday of January as National Bible Day and the last week of January as National Bible Week.

The renewed emphasis on the Bible at the start of the year also reminds Filipinos how important God’s Word is over our lives and decisions.
