Puspin Advocate YouTuber Receives "And God Also Made a Cat Book"
Oct 23, 2019
Popular vlogger Basel Manadil otherwise known as The Hungry Syrian Wanderer was given a copy of And God Also Made a Cat by CSM Marketing Manager Riza Rivera and Sales Supervisor Mark Rivera in his milk tea shop in Las Pinas last September. Manadil advocates rescuing and adopting stray kittens, cats, and dogs because he believes they deserve a home and love, too.
Pure Syrian with a pusong Pinoy, Manadil left his war-torn country of Syria at the age of 18 to study college in Las Pinas. He became a vlogger after rescuing a newborn kitten he lovingly calls Maui Boy in 2016 and his video of bathing the kitten went viral. To date, The Hungry Syrian Wanderer vlog has 1.19M subscribers, and his two cats have their own vlog, Maui Boy and Maki Boy. Read the compelling story of The Hungry Syrian Wanderer and more amazing stories of Pinoy cats and the people who love and care for them in And God Also Made a Cat, now available in Christian bookstores near you or order online through the CSM Facebook page.
